This project was carried out in collaboration with Duchas, The Heritage Service, for the provision of guides’ and visitors’ facilities and improve access through Trim Castle. The project consisted of the refurbishment of the original 12th century Keep, including a suspended walkway within the old walls and works to the Gatehouses The project was awarded an Europa Nostra Award for Architectural Heritage for “the well-researched and excellent restoration of a 12th Century castle ruin, including imaginative new installations.”
