Dublin City University – New Entrance Competition

This was the Coda architectural competition submission to redesign the entrance to Dublin city University. Proposals sought to rationalise the main entrance to the campus by redirecting the focus to a more pedestrian centred approach aligned with the Helix Theatre. A standalone urban marker inspired by the Ogham stones was used to mark the new entrance. The new entrance plaza was intended to open up the campus to the local area and create a direct route into the heart of the campus.
