House Alterations, Co. Dublin
This project involved a 1960’s house which was very dated and with a very poor energy rating (E2). Part of the ground floor and garage had been used as a dental surgery in recent years. The brief was to improve and modernise the layout internally, significantly improve the BER rating, and create a fresh new look to the exterior. The solution was to remove the conservatory, re-plan the house internally creating an improved layout including a double height dining space. Externally the facades were altered to include a bay window and parapets to the front and the whole was externally insulated and rendered. The interior design of the house and external landscaping completed the project.
