3 House Mews Development, Dublin 6 This project was to replace a warehouse with 3 houses on a narrow, 15 m wide, mews lane site. Although the site was narrow, it was very long, which allowed a deep plan. The main concerns of height and density were overcome with careful design of the front elevations and a multi-level plan. The solution created two terraces of town houses (11 in total), each with their own distinct character, and each reflecting characteristics of the victorian neighbourhood. Residential Development The brief was to replace a warehouse on a small lane with four townhouses. A major consideration in this project was the need to create a street frontage and to provide adequate open space.
